What HYVE Scope Does.
Zero-Readable-Cloud Encryption
Every vault object is encrypted with its own key derived from your Master Vault Key using Argon2id + XSalsa20-Poly1305. Nothing is decryptable without your credentials — not even by the software itself.
Universal Case Workspace
Full case lifecycle management: timeline events, tasks, notes, linked persons, and evidence references — all encrypted per-object and organized in a 6-tab workspace purpose-built for complex investigations.
22 Profession Templates
Tailored workflows for public safety, justice, medical, fire, and military sectors. Task categories, case classifications, and UI language adapt to your profession — not the other way around.
Argon2id Key Derivation
Memory-hard KDF (64MB RAM / INTERACTIVE limits) protects your vault from brute-force attacks. Tunable to SENSITIVE tier for classified deployments. Keys never leave the Electron main process.
IPC Security Boundary
The renderer process — where the UI lives — never touches cryptographic keys. All vault operations cross the contextBridge into the trusted Electron main process, preventing renderer-side compromise from reaching your data.
Connector Engine (Coming)
Phase 3 brings live data connectors: Flock Safety cameras, Axon body-cam footage, FHIR medical records, court calendar systems, and generic RMS integration — all pulling directly into your encrypted vault.
AI Intelligence Layer (Coming)
Phase 4 introduces 5 on-device AI agents — case summarization, anomaly detection, timeline inference, cross-case pattern analysis, and a Policy Guard that enforces jurisdiction-specific data handling rules.
Secure Collaboration (Coming)
Phase 5 enables encrypted share packages with X25519 key exchange — send case data to authorized parties with forward secrecy. Zero trust: even the relay server cannot read what it transmits.
